We are pleased to announce that Polar Data Forum IV will be co-hosted online by the Royal Belgian institute of Natural Sciences and the European Polar Board (EPB) and the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO) in The Hague (NL) from September 20th to 24th, 2021. This event will be co-organized with the Second Southern Ocean Regional Workshop for the UN Ocean Decade and Hackathon and focus on the polar oceans.

NICEST2 is arranging a hackathon, March 11, 16 and 17, 2021 (13:00 - 17:00 CET), on how to make climate data FAIR. The focus is on climate model output, and how to work with the CF conventions, CMOR etc. Further information is available at https://nordicesmhub.github.io/nicest2-fair-hackathon/.

We have discovered an issue with some records harvested from NILU/EBAS. We try to fix these issues in collaboration with NILU/EBAS. Direct download works fine, but OPeNDAP access to datasets doesn't work properly for the time being.
