Abstract:
We present here the fundamental data on the concentrations of dissolved ions in shallow samples, between 7.7 m and 65.0 m depth, from a Dome Fuji ice core (DF01) drilled in 2001. Note that concentrations of Cl- and SO4_{2-} are basically the same with those published in the supplement of Motizuki et al. (2014) for the corresponding part (7.7 - 65.0 m depth). In the present dataset, we re-analyzed and newly added the Cl- and SO4_{2-} concentrations for several samples that were not provided in Motizuki et al. (2014). In addition, the chronology of the DF01 shallow core is presented in this dataset. The explanation of DFS1-Year and DFS2-Year (AD) is found in Motizuki et al. (2014), including their dating uncertainty.* Motizuki et al. (2014): "Dating of a Dome Fuji (Antarctica) shallow ice core by volcanic signal synchronization with B32 and EDML1 chronologies", Y.
