Login with SSO
It is now possible to login into the site using external SSO providers (Google, GitHub, ORCID, Microsoft, Feide).
1. I already have an account on this site
If you already have an account on this site and want to use an external provider to login, you need first to connect your current account to the provider of your choice:
- login on the site using your current username/password (option at the top)
- on your account page, go to the tab "Connected accounts", click "Connect with Generic" and you will be given the choice to select an identity provider
- click on the provider and and login
- you will now see that you are connected
From now on you can choose to login using the "Login with generic" from the login page on this site.
2. I do not have an account on this site
If you do not have already an account on this site and want to create one using an external identity provider:
- click "Login with Generic" on the login page (option at the bottom)
- choose the identity provider and login
- an account will be created and you will be notified when the account is approved and active.
From then on you can use the "Login with Generic" button to login into the site.
