In week 10, the search interface for datasets will be updated. This update will remove the slow response from the search interface due to examination of OPeNDAP streams. The generation of thumbnails have also been improved for 4D data. Further details will be provided in week 11.

This site will undergo scheduled maintenance on February 28th. Short interruptions are expected between 8pm and 12 PM CET.

The International Conference on Marine Data and Information Systems will take place in Barcelona, Spain, 5-7 November 2018. Sessions will focus on:

1. Data services and tools in ocean science
2. Technical developments for marine information and data management
3. Marine environmental infrastructures for observation data
4. Data products, information and knowledge

Deadline for submission of Abstracts are 30 April 2018.

The report presents the results of an investigation of business models for about fifty data repositories holding data from multiple scientific domains, a review and discussion of possible business models for research data repositories, and recommendations for making sustainable business models.
